The Ashtabula Police Department says that the two women found the man dead in their home earlier in the day as they were living there with him, before allegedly placing him in the front seat of his car with the help of a third person.
Police alleged the two women placed the man in the car “in such a manner that he would be visible to bank staff in order to make the withdrawal." They then took out “an undisclosed amount of money from his account."

Ashtabula County Prosecuting Attorney Cecilia Cooper, perFox affiliate WJW, called the situation “very unusual,” and revealed that the women withdrew around $900.
The outlet also reports that the bank had let the women take out money from Layman’s account before, as long as he was in the vehicle with them. Police also told WJW that Feralo and Casbohm were not related to the deceased.
According to WJW, prosecutors said the suspects could face up to a year in prison. A cause of death for Layman has not yet been revealed, and the Ashtabula Police Department is asking anyone with information to get in contact with them.
