The actress, 43, was selected to narrate the audio edition ofBritney Spears' memoir,The Woman in Me. In one scene, Spears, 41, wrote about the “Cry Me a River” singer, 42, trying to impress Ginuwine in New York City — and Williams didn’t hold back in her delivery.

“J got all excited and said so loud, ‘Oh yeah, fo’ shiz fo’ shiz, Ginuwine, what’s up homie?’ After Ginuwine walked away, Felicia [Spears' assistant] did an impression of J … J wasn’t even embarrassed. He just took it and looked at her like,‘OK, f— you Fe.’”
After the book’s release on Tuesday, fans started pulling the clip and posting it on social media with hilarious commentary.

“This bout to be the greatest clip of audio since Watergate,” one fanwrote on X(formerly known as Twitter).
Other social media users suggested she win an award for the recording.
Onefan wrote, “when michelle williams wins the best audiobook recording grammy for this line reading what then.”
Another one wrote, “michelle williams deserves an honorary egot for having to read this.”
Spears releasedher much-anticipated memoiron Tuesday, through Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

After its release, shethanked her fanson social media and said her book had already made history.
