The couple endured their first public scandal last April, when videos surfaced of Thompson, 27, getting close to other women just days before Kardashian, 34,gave birthto their daughterTrue. Though the new mom initiallyforgave the basketball player, a source tells PEOPLE their relationship never fully recovered.

The couple officially called it quits after Kardashian heard Thompson was allegedly once again unfaithful, this time with her sisterKylie Jenner‘s best friend,Jordyn Woods.
“The fact that her family is breaking apart is a nightmare for her, but it’s been a long time coming,” the source says. “They’ve been living separate lives. She can’t trust Tristan, and she’s known that for a long time. She’s been focused on her daughter and creating a loving healthy home for her. She doesn’t deserve this and she knows it.”
When the news broke, the reality stardeleted any trace of Thompsonfrom her Instagram since True’s birth in April 2018, including a family photo of the trio taken on Thanksgiving.
While she still follows him on Instagram, the most recent picture of him on her feed is from April 9, 2018 — just before the first round of cheating allegations. She didunfollow Woods, however.
After doing the social media sweep, Kardashianshared a series of emotional quotesto her Instagram Story.

Another slide read, “Somebody needs to hear this…That betrayal was your blessing.”
Within an hour of the cheating reports, the NBA starissued an apparent denial, writing “FAKE NEWS” in all caps before deleting the tweet.
A source told PEOPLE that the Kardashians found out about the scandal Monday.
“The whole family is furious,”the source said. “They were blindsided.”
Reps for Kardashian and Thompson have not returned PEOPLE’s requests for comment. Woods’ rep had no comment.
And while the alleged affair feels like a deep betrayal for Kardashian, the rest of the family is hurting as well.
“It’s all a mess now. Everyone considered Jordyn family. She was like a family member and always invited everywhere,”a source told PEOPLE. “The family helped her and wanted her to be able to have a business venture too.”
