Jewel and Melissa Etheridge Announce Co-Headlining Tour

Two legendary singer-songwriters are hitting the road together this summer.

On Tuesday,JewelandMelissa Etheridgeannounced they’re going on a North American co-headlining tour throughout summer and fall 2024.

The ‘90s icons will embark on two legs of their joint tour, with the first stint of live dates kicking off on July 11 in Bonner, Montana. The “You Were Meant for Me” singer, 49, and the “Come to My Window” musician, 62, will play along the West Coast, with stops in major cities like San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and others, before performing a few shows in the Midwest and wrapping up the initial leg on Aug. 7.

After taking a break through much of August and September, the hitmakers will hit the road once again on Sept. 17 with a show in Cary, North Carolina. Their final run will mostly consist of dates across the South, in cities like Charlotte, North Carolina, St. Augustine, Florida, Austin, Texas and more.

According to a press release, fans can expect Jewel to play a setlist featuring songs from her recent 2022 albumFreewheelin' Womanand hits from throughout her discography, like off her breakout, debut albumPieces of You.

Etheridge will set out on the joint tour following her own headlining dates on the I’m Not Broken Tour. The Grammy winner’s solo tour will run throughout North America in the spring from March until late April, and then she’ll play a handful of shows in Australia in May, as well as a special performance withThe Avett Brothersat Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheater in early July.

Last year, the “I’m the Only One” performer released her second bookTalking to My Angelsabout her recent spiritual awakening andlosing her son Beckett, 21, to an opioid overdose in 2020. Upon its release, Etheridge opened up to PEOPLE aboutthe joy she continues to get from making art.

The rock star said, “I get so lost when I sing and play, and it’s such a release that it feels so good. I remember, ‘Oh yeah, this is what it feels like to feel so good. I’m just extremely grateful for it all.”

In a September interview with PEOPLE, Jewel also spoke abouthow grateful she is for her long-running career.

She continued, “I still feel that way. I feel really lucky.”

Ticket sales for Jewel and Etheridge’s co-headlining tour kick off on Wednesday withartistpresales, beginning at 10 a.m. local time. The general sale will follow on Friday, launching at 10 a.m. local time.
