A laboratory technician working at a New Jersey State Police drug examination station has been accused of fabricating drug trial run answer , potentially turn over almost 8,000 criminal cases in the DoS .
Last December , lab technician Kamalkant Shah was caught cut corners while dissect a distrust marijuana sample and recording results without doing a exhaustive analysis . He was removed from the lab and suspended without pay .
