Long time X - Men foe Mister Sinister has been take his own look into the problems Mutants have been facing with the Terrigen mist , and ever the genetic scientist , he ’s been examine to discover a way to make sport resistant to the mist . Ever the scoundrel , Sinister ’s been doing that by kidnapping mutation , distressingly experimenting on them to splice them with Inhuman DNA , and then expose them to Terrigen mist . None of his tests have crop yet , so they cease up dying dreadfully . That ’s not very nice , but then again , he ’s Mister Sinister . “ Not very squeamish ” is in all probability his first name .
The X - Men soon let out that Sinister has captured Colossus and his sister , Magik , for his experiments , and track the baddie down . They deliver the two X - Men , but at the very last of the issue Sinister reveals that not every Mutant he ’s experiment on has buy the farm upon liaison with the mist :
