Evangeline Lilly Wanted to Play Princess Leia, But Carrie Fisher Already Had It in the Bag

Evangeline Lilly actively ask to be a part of a project one time , and one time only . It was when she found out J.J. Abramswas making a new Star Wars flick .

“ Several years ago , when I chance out that J.J. Abrams was remake , or rebooting , the Star Wars enfranchisement , it was the only time in my life history that I ’ve ever put a call out . I wanted to be Leia , ” Lilly saidtalking to Syfy .
