Josh Rossiloves nothing more than making his daughter’s dreams come true — and he does it with his photography and Photoshop prowess.

Also known as thePhotoshop Dad, Rossi has used his skills to transform his 5-year-old daughter Nellee into strong female characters likeWonder Woman, Mulan,Belleand now Captain Marvel, surprising her with a poster of “Captain Nellee” on display at the movie theater.

“My daughter is obsessed withCaptain Marvel,” Rossi says ina YouTube videohe shared on Thursday. “So I decided to surprise her with something right after the premiere.”

Nellee walks out of the theater after watchingCaptain Marvelfor the first timeand sees her movie poster on display, her jaw dropping before her mouth turns up into the biggest grin.

But Rossi didn’t just make a movie poster. Ina blog poston his website, the creative dad shared details about the project — which included recreating many different scenes from the movie — explaining and showing the process behind putting together some of the photos.

Her dad wrote that “after doing a bunch of these photo shoots,” his daughter “has become pretty good at posing and getting into the zone when it’s time to shoot.”

She confidently posed and made faces for the camera, givingher dad incredible shots toedit.

That confidence stayed with her. Rossi shared in his post that after being made fun of at school for her “worn-down shoes,” Nellee, instead of being sad, told her dad it was “okay, because she was a superhero!”

Rossi hadn’t realized the impact these photo shoots had on Nellee — projects that he told PEOPLE two years ago were his way of creating special moments with his daughter.

“I want her to have something that represents the relationship she and I have,” he said at the time. “A normal photo doesn’t do it for me. I’mconstantly taking photos and videosto try and hold on to each moment spent with her.”
