A Christian group know as Return to Order has been running a campaign to exhort Netflix to remove the show Good Omens , which was released on Amazon .
The modified series — based on a 1990 novel write by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman — tells the floor of a demon and angel joining power to blockade Armageddon . It ’s a show that celebrates unity during these divisive times .
But , asthe Guardianfirst reported , Return to Order does n’t approve of the forcefulness of heaven and hell connect for a common end . The group , which is essentially a brand name propagation of the book Return to purchase order by biblical learner John Horvat II , created a petition urging Netflix to “ deplumate the series at once , ” and , “ break promoting iniquity ! ” Again , Netflix ca n’t do either of those things because it does n’t bring out or pullulate the show Good Omens , Amazon does .

As of Thursday dawn , the siteclaimed to have had more than 20,000 signatures . However , it seems the page was taken down sometime on Thursday .
The prayer page , which , based on a Facebook posting , has been up since at least May 12 , mention several reasonableness that the show is “ blasphemous . ” Among Return to Order ’s concern are the series feature an angel and a demon as close friends , “ God is voiced by a woman , ” the antichrist is “ portrayed as a normal kid that has particular ability , ” and the “ four rider of the Apocalypse , God ’s means of punishing wicked earth , are depict as a chemical group of bikers . ”
“ We must show our rejection , ” the campaign demands . “ Please sign our petition , telling Netflix that we will not put up silent as they destroy the barrier of horror we still have for evil . ”

I want to keep an eye on the show even more now . It ’s candidly not bad promotional copy for the show . Neil Gaiman seemed to agree , in a tweet about the campaign .
