Pierce Brosnan’s sons Dylan and Paris were the 2020Golden GlobeAmbassadors, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the previous Nov. 14.
TheJames Bondstar’s sons, whom he shares withKeely Shaye Brosnan, were the first pair of brothers to hold the title.
In line with the focus on Golden Globe Ambassadors championing important causes, Paris told reporters that he and Dylan “understand the value of education and its importance in equipping the next generation with skills to succeed.”
“I’ve never had to worry about where my next meal might come from — I’m lucky in that respect; but I know that millions of children worldwide don’t have that luxury,” he continued. “School meals provide critically important nutrition, and also incentivize parents to keep kids in school, giving them a fighting chance for a better life.”
Older brother Dylan joined his dad on the red carpet for Quentin Tarantino’sOnce Upon a Time … In Hollywood, and has appeared in Saint Laurent fashion shows in 2015 and 2016,according toVogue. He’s also a musician in the band Raspberry Blonde.

In a chat with PEOPLE, Elba said her famous father texted her the big news.
“I literally, I was like, ‘Are you sure?’ Because, you know, he deals with, you know, cool stuff all the time so I was like, ‘Are you sending this to the right person?'” she said. “And I showed my mom, I was like, ‘Mom, dad just told me I’m the Golden Globe Ambassador,’ and she was like, ‘Yeah, you are!'”
She continued, “So I was literally flipping out! It was surreal and so I’m really honored to have this and be a part of the Golden Globes that I always watched my whole life and now being able to go on stage and touch a Golden Globe and meet people that are winning Golden Globes is really cool.”
