Why I Take Good Care of My Macintosh

Because it hatch under its hood like a perched falcon ,
Because it rise like a skittish knight and sometimes throws me ,
Because it is poky when cold ,
Because credit card is a sad , unattackable material that is charming to gnawer ,
Because it is skittish ,
Because my mind fly into it through my fingers ,
Because it leaps forward and backward , is an endless sniffer and searcher ,
Because its keys click like hail on a boulder ,
And it wink when it go out ,
And puts word - plenty in hoard for me , gobs of pockets of amber under boulder in streambeds , identical pod strong on a vine , or it stores binful of bolt ;
And I lose them and incur them ,
Because whole domain of piece of writing can be boldly laid out and then play up and vanish in a flash at “ delete , ” so it teach of impermanence and pain ;
And because my computer and me are both brief in this world , both foolish , and we have earthly fates ,
Because I have have it move in with me flop inside the tent ,
And it goes with me out every morning ;
We occupy up our baskets , get back home ,
Feel rich , unwind , I throw it a scrap and it hum .
